This page explains how personal data submitted through this website is processed by Zella Cranes, the trade name of ZELLA SAS, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian data-protection framework.
Contact requests
When you use the contact form we process the details you provide (name, email, optionally phone) together with your message, in order to respond to your enquiry. Where an enquiry relates to a potential contract, the lawful basis is the pre-contractual measures you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); otherwise the basis is our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Messages are delivered by email to our business mailbox.
Recruiting applications
When you apply through the Careers page we process your name, email, phone, experience level, area of interest and message, together with an optional CV, in order to evaluate and manage your application. The lawful basis is the pre-contractual measures you request by applying (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Applications are delivered by email to the recruiting mailbox configured for the website. A CV is optional: you can apply without one.
Retention
Personal data is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected — for recruiting, the duration of the selection process and the period required to comply with applicable law. No fixed retention period is published here. A final retention policy, set by ZELLA SAS, is required before the site is put into production; until then a conservative approach is used (data is not retained longer than needed for the selection process).
No marketing, no cookies, no analytics
This website does not place marketing cookies, does not run advertising, analytics or tracking scripts, does not use third-party embeds, and does not store anything in localStorage or sessionStorage. No consent to marketing is requested because no such processing takes place. The site has no database; data lives in the email messages produced by the forms.
Server, security and email processing
The site applies technical safeguards: required-field validation, rate limiting per IP, a honeypot field against automated submissions, and antiforgery protection. Web-server and application logs produced by the hosting environment may record request metadata (for example IP addresses) for security and operation. Email delivery relies on SMTP, which means messages — and any CV attached to a recruiting application — transit and sit in the mailboxes of the email provider you configure; to the extent hosting and email-processing providers act on our behalf, they process data on our instructions. Exact hosting and mail providers, and the retention of email content, are operational details currently being finalized by ZELLA SAS.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to request data portability where applicable, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
